Due to my approach, I recommend weekly sessions to allow for us to establish a strong therapeutic relationship. However, I know it is not always financially feasible and am willing to work with you for what better suits your needs to the best of my ability.

Yes! Online therapy can be just as effective as in-person sessions for many people. It offers the same level of support, connection, and growth, just in a more flexible format. For some, meeting from the comfort of home actually makes it easier to open up and feel grounded during sessions. I create a warm, connected space whether we’re in the same room or on a screen. ​ That said, every person is different. If you're not sure if online therapy is right for you, I offer in-person sessions in Austin, Texas 78704. We can talk about your preferences and find what feels most supportive!

The first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, your hopes, and anything you feel comfortable sharing about your story. There’s no pressure to dive into everything at once, we’ll go at your pace. I’ll also answer any questions you have about the therapy process, and we’ll explore whether we’re a good fit to work together.  Think of it as the beginning of a collaborative, supportive relationship. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, respected, and a little more grounded.

I am not an ideal match for someone struggling with an obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders more than disordered eating, active substance use disorder, or psychosis. Due to being a solo practitioner with limited availability, I’m also not a good fit for someone who has serious and frequent thoughts about ending their life. I am not afraid of parts with suicidal thoughts or impulses but I want you to be supported by someone who has more flexible availability in the event of a mental health crisis.​
